Jacquelyn Chin
SOUND EDITOR & PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
Jacquelyn Chin is a nationally recognized and award-winning Cantonese-American filmmaker of over seven years. She is a proud member of IATSE MPEG Local 700 as an Assistant Sound Editor. Chin is a jack(ie)-of-all-trades with a background in production management, sound design & location sound recording, editing, screenwriting, and cinematography. She has a Bachelor of Science in Cinema Production from Ithaca College's Park School of Communication.
Previously, she's worked for notable companies including Warner Bros Sound NY, CBS, DreamWorks Animation, and Disney Streaming. Some of her recent projects include: "Blue Bloods" Season 14 (Assistant Sound Editor), “Kung Fu Panda 4” (VisDev & Layout Production Intern), “Candy” (Executive Producer, Writer, and Editor), “Remains” (Producer), and “If My Candle Burns Blue” (Producer).
In her free time, Chin enjoys reading books, listening to podcasts, playing piano, cutting & dying her hair, knitting, flag dancing, and axe throwing. She is also a member and affiliate of Asian Queens in Animation, Rise Up Animation, Asians in Animation, and Broadway For All.
